I Broke My Old Site
What Do I do When I Have No Clue?
A total rebuild, that's what.
It’s a little frustrating but the old version of my site here was an amalgamation of multiple sites I had created over the years. It was a summary of all the projects I got bored with, abandoned and didn’t want to lose the content from.
Well, this time I really blew it. I went to run an update on WordPress not realizing there was an incompatibly issue. It was likely me running an older version of PHP database than the latest version of WordPress would work with. As a result there was a fatal error. I tried a few things to restore the site but to no avail.
I’m sure with more time I would have figured it out or been able to get help. However I never really liked the site and it felt like a chance to to a total refresh.
I’ll try to add back in some key pieces of content that people seemed to respond to, but other than that it’s all new. So let’s get cracking with version 2.0 of my site.
